This is a new idea (not exactly all), most sever relied on a standard money system. And item based economy, I haven't seen any of this. So this makes the server difference from others and becomes the only server (99% sure that this is only one in community) that rely on item based.

Money system makes Minecraft server less vanilla. My ideal economy is item based economy, no ingame money incluce, using npc "villager" trader, that would eliminate shop exploit too.

Item value [base on vanilla villager trade] (90% my opinion)

Emerald type
16 redstones = 1 emerald ;
10 coals = 1 emerald ; 1 emerald = 10 coals
4 irons = 1 emerald ; 1 emerald = 4 irons
3 golds = 1 emerald ; 1 emerald = 3 golds
3 emeralds = 1 emerald ore ; 1 emerald ore = 2 emeralds *average, fortune 3 ench give 2.2x more ore than normal pick
18 packed ice = 1 emerald ; 1 emerald = 18 packed ice
2 blue ice = 1 emerald ; 1 emerald = 2 blue ice
1 emerald = 1 sapling ; 4 saplings = 1 emerald
4 emeralds = 1 sponge ; 1 sponge = 4 emeralds
20 stones = 1 emerald ; 1 emerald = 20 stones
3 emeralds = 1 nametag ; irreversible

64 emerald = 1 beacon ; 1 beacon = 64 emerald

.
..
.....
................ more (i ll update soon)

Beacon type
1 beacon = 16 diamonds
10 beacon = spawner ; irreversible *if it can be mined with silk touch, it will be a lot cheaper

Beacon can be used to store emeralds

When money is gone but I want to preserver the auction house
old command: /ah sell [amount] , new one to adapt item based /ah sell [[item amount]#item type (no NBT),[item amount]#item type (no NBT), ..... ] ex. "/ah sell 100#stone,15#diamond,16#blaze_rod" that mean buyer need 100 stone blocks 15 diamonds and 16 blaze rod to buy this thing
*I get this idea from world edit command (ex. //set 20%stone,80%grass_block)

I understand the value in setting EDawg878 apart from other servers. I think part of why the monetary system exists is to create a simple economy. Have you though about having to remember or constantly look up item values, and perhaps how confusing and cumbersome that could be? The current system also encourages plenty of town competition.
